Notchcliff Nature Programs
Our programs offer immersive outdoor play and exploration in nature each week on the campus of Glen Meadows Retirement Community in Glen Arm, MD. Notchcliff Forest Preschool offers options for our half-day, drop-off program. The Chickadees meet on Monday/Wednesday, the Spotted Fawns meet on Tuesday/Thursday, and the Red Foxes meet on Fridays from 9:30-12:30 p.m. Throughout the year, we welcome families to join us for "Family Forest Days" and offer programs with our elders at Glen Meadows Retirement Community. Family field trips are another way families discover the incredible natural places in the greater Baltimore area.
Our Homeschool Cooperative is a special opportunity for children in home school K-2nd (ages 5-7) to explore nature. Classes options are available Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. - 1p.m. and also runs for a full school year.
We also offer Summer Forest Friends, which are licensed nature camps and community events such as Earth Day Fairy Fest. Contact us if you'd like to learn more!
