Notchcliff Nature Programs

Our programs offer immersive outdoor play and exploration in nature each week on the campus of Glen Meadows Retirement Community in Glen Arm, MD. Notchcliff Forest Preschool provides two options for our half-day, drop-off program. The Spotted Fawns class meets on Tuesday/Thursday from 9:30-12:30 p.m. and our Forest Friday class meets Fridays from 9:30-12:30 p.m.

Throughout the year, we welcome families to join us for "Family Forest Days" and offer programs with our elders at Glen Meadows Retirement Community. These are two of the ways we build community by learning together. Family field trips are another way families discover the incredible natural places in the greater Baltimore area.

Our Forest Kinder Co-Op is a special opportunity for children in home school K-2nd (ages 5-7) to explore nature. Classes take place on Tuesday/Thursday from 1-4 p.m. and also run for a full school year. Contact us if you'd like to learn more!
