Elderflowers Nature Series

Senior citizens share nature with toddlers and preschoolers during this gentle nature series. Together, elders explore the outdoors alongside young children and their parents, kindling love and respect for nature and one another. We spend time outdoors visiting gardens and woodland paths, listening and looking closely for animals and seasonal changes. Songs, stories, and nature crafts are part of our time together.

This 45-minute program nurtures healthy social-emotional bonds among participants while reaping benefits of fresh air and physical activity. Elderflowers Nature Series supports environmental literacy, nature connection, and a deeper sense of community with elders at Glen Meadows Retirement Community. We hope you’ll join us for this very special intergenerational program!
