About the event
Try your hand at building a fire! We will identify and gather different kinds of wood needed to start a fire, and work with flint/steel to get it lit. A roasted seasonal snack will follow.
How to Prepare: Bring a blanket and pack a picnic lunch. Dress for rain or shine, wear closed-toed shoes, bring your insect repellent, and plenty of drinking water.
Who can attend? This program is for children ages 2 to 10 years old. This is not a drop-off program; parent or caregiver must attend with their child(ren).
